Energizing juices

How do you feel when you wake up in the morning? Do you feel like you have had enough sleep or would you close your eyes for a few more hours? Are you having a hard time staying awake during the day? Do you need a nap in the afternoon to recharge your batteries? If this is your case than this energizing smoothy is for you! Spirulina is a powerful seaweed rich in iron, protein, chlorophyll and beta-caroten. Added to your smoothies, it oxygenates your blood increasing its flow throughout the body and thereby giving you more energy.

Energizing Smoothy

½ cucumber
1 apple
¼ pinapple
1 handfull of kale leaves
½ cup of coconut water
1 t.s. of spirulina
2 t.s. of sunflower seeds
Blend all ingredients in a blender with some ice and savour slowly.
